IS YOUR PIECE A PERFECT 10?  A few years ago one of my students, a competitive ice skater, was the inspiration for the Perfect 10 Poster Use it to get your students thinking about all the musical details that go into an artistic performance.

MYSTERY REWARD CARDS  Print and cut the Mystery Reward Cards apart and put them in a small container. Have the student draw one when they come to the lesson and try to win a treat by illustrating the statement on the card, OR you can have them draw the card at the end of the lesson to see if their performance showed that characteristic OR you reveal the "card of the week" for every student either before or after their lesson.
